Fuse Communications was hired in the Winter of 2011 to help promote the launch of The Flamingo, a new club in Ottawa. As part of its services, Fuse created a promotional plan for the club, which included a heavy and active social media presence, as well as blogger relations. Within four days of launching the social media presence (Twitter and Facebook), the Facebook page had received 400 “likes,” a substantive number considering the niche market that was targeted for this campaign.
